Some journeys begin with a destination.

Mine began with a single cup of tea.

What started as curiosity gradually became a lifelong pursuit—not of collecting the rarest teas, but of understanding the stories they quietly carry. Every mountain, every tree, every season, every craftsman leaves something behind in the leaves.

This journal is my record of those encounters.
Here you’ll find tasting journals, brewing notes, tea education, teaware, water experiments, and reflections written one infusion at a time. I hope to explore the great traditions of Chinese tea—from Wuyi rock tea and aged white tea to benchmark Pu’er recipes and the famous mountains of Yunnan.

I do not claim to be a master.
I am simply a student who believes that great tea deserves patience, attention, and honest observation.

From time to time, a tea leaves such a lasting impression that I choose to share it with others. Those teas may become available here in small, carefully selected quantities, sourced from producers and suppliers I have personally come to trust.

Whether you are beginning your own tea journey or have been walking this path for years, I hope these pages encourage you to slow down, brew another cup, and discover something new.

After all, every remarkable tea begins the same way—

With water.

With leaves.

And with someone willing to listen.
